what is a good format for writing a formal letter and an informal letter

Format of a formal letter;

1. Address of the sender

2. Date below the address

3. Address of the receiver

4. Subject

5. Salutations ( Respected Sir etc )

6. Body of the letter ( 3 paragraphs )

7. The complementary close ( Yours faithfully etc )

8. Sender's name

Format of Informal Letter

1. Address of the sender

2.Date below the address

3. Salutations

4. Body of the letter

5. The complementary close

6. Sender's name

( In informal letter there is no need of receiver's address and subject)

Formal letter-:are letters written to peoples who donot know a personal level.

Eg.we may write to find out information ,to apply job,to make a complaint,etc.

Informal letter-:An informal letter is a letter you would write to a friend,a family member or an acquaintance.The classic informal letter has five part as follow-:

Address block: Includes your return address and date of writing letter.
