A good scientific question is one that can have an answer and be tested.

  • “Why is that a star?” is not as good as “What are stars made of?” 2.

A good scientific question can be tested by some experiment or measurement that you can do.

The population of the town = 2000

Rate of increase in the population = 5%

Number of years = 3

We can calculate this by using the formula

A = P(1+R/100)∧n

= 20000(1+5/100)∧3

= 22051

The population of town after 3 years will be 22051
