for me guru is our god , sage ,teacher, master, our guide, leading light. the guru means one who dispels darkness of ignorance . `GU` means darkness of ignorance . RU means one who removes . another meaning is guru one who reveals the target to the disciple . he is one who takes upon himself a form of teach the same to the disciple ; he is god himself. guru is the Brahma who is the creator of the universe. a real guru is omnipotent,omniscient, omnipresent. guru is not who merely teaches. there is one guru , that is god and there is no other guru .
