halide ores are metallic halides .they are veryless in nature.

A halide ion is a charged particle containing halogen atom(s) that has/have gained one more electron to fill its valence shell. That means they have a negative charge. since halogens are non-metals and they require one more atom to form a complete octet or duet, or in simpler words, to fill the valence shell.
