when HCl reacts with CH2-CH--CH2, H goes to the the double-bonded carbon atom with more hydrogen atom (markovnikov's rule). in this case H goes to double-bonded carbon CH2 as it has more H atom than CH. Cl gets attached to the other double-bonded  carbon atom which is CH. hence we get the correct answer, option c)
