The irrational numbers are all the real numbers which are not rational numbers, the latter being the numbers constructed from ratios of integers....

a number which cannot be expressed in the form p/q where q is not equal to 0 and p and q are coprime is called an irrational number.An irrational number has always decimal expansion non-terminating recurring.eg, 0.02002000200002.....,34344344434444... etc.
