India is the land of diversity. We have so many Languages , Ethnicities , Religion , Castes , Race , etc. From centuries,People co-exist here peacefully.Yes,there is a language problem. We have so many languages but only 22 are included in the 8th schedule of the constitution. These are Hindi Bengali Telgu Tamil Marathi Gujrati Odia Kashmiri Dogri Malyali Meitei(Manipuri) Sanskrit Nepali Konkani Kannada Sindhi Maithali Assamese Santhali Punjabi Bodo & Urdu.

Hindi is spoken by over 40% of the population,so it is the official language of India along with English . Also Hindi is understood by over 70% people of India and many are bilungual in Hindi & their mother tongue in almost all states of India except Southern States of Karnataka,Tamil nadu, Kerala & to some extent in Telangana & Andhra also(Except Hyderabad where people speak Hyderabadi Hindi) .In TamilNadu, there is most resistance to Hindi due to State politics of Dravidianism and recently we saw such things in Karnataka also which also inspired by Politics.Demand of state Flag is another example of that which is due to politics.

Height of Hypocrisy of Some South Indian Politicians is that they never talk about those Dravidian languages whic are being Suppressed by them.Best example is Tulu language which is very much developed and has a developed grammar. Maithli doesn’t have so much developed grammar or way of writing but it is recognised by Government of India but Tulu which is so developed has not been recognised.Similar in the case of Kodava language. Karnataka Politcians and Kannada groups don’t want that there should be Hindi Impostion on them but they themselves are doing Kannada Imposition on native TULUVAS who speak Tulu language. Afterall Kannada is compulsory in Karnataka .

In Tripura also there is no recognition of KOKBOROK language of the indigenous Tribal peoples of Tripura . In Jharkhand also, Language of the Tribals is not given so much importance.

Hindi is understood by many people but it should not be forced on anyone.India is a democratic nation so there should not be any language Imposition on anyone. If people themselves want to learn Hindi then it is ok.

Anothet point is that almost all the languages of India except some northeastern languages have been derived from one single language i.e, SANSKRIT . So can’t we make Sanskrit the NATIONAL LANGUAGE of India ???

Official language is Hindi , but there is no National language .So, I don’t think that if SANSKRIT will be made the National language anyone will have problem afterall all the languages have their common ancestry of Sanskrit. Further Sanskrit is also the Computer language. Foriegners are also resarching on this topic so I think it will be great to have Sanskrit the National language of INDIA.

THERE SHOULD BE NO FORCEFULL IMPOSITION OF ANY LANGUAGE ON THE COMMUNITY WHICH DOESNOT SPEAK THAT LANGUAGE.ALSO,EACH AND EVERY LANGUAGE OF INDIA NEEDS TO BE RECOGNISED SUCH AS TULU. BUT,IT DOESNOT MEANS THAT POLITICIANS SHOULD WAGE A WAR TO GIVE A DIALECT THE STATUS OF LANGUAGE. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A DIALECT & LANGUAGE SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD BY ALL.

Thus, Language Problem can be solved.

THANK YOU,
