The earth takes about 365 days and 6 hours to complete one revolution around the sun . So,we have 365 days in a year. The additional 6 hours are added over 4 years to make one day , and this day is added to the leap year .Thus all years which can be divided by 4 are leap years .The month of February has 28 days , but in a leap year , it has 29 days.
