SOLUTION :

LEMMA : A lemma is a proven statement used for proving another statement.

EUCLID'S DIVISION LEMMA :

Euclid's division lemma provides a stepwise procedure to compute the HCF of any two positive integers which is known as Euclid division algorithm.

Euclid's division lemma states that  for any two positive integers a and b, there exist two unique whole numbers say q and r , such that

a = bq + r , where 0 ≤ r < b

Here, a = Dividend , b = Divisor , q = Quotient , r = Remainder

It can be written as,

Dividend = (Divisor ×  Quotient ) + Remainder
