Liquid skeletons are also called as hydrostatic skeleton. Hydrostatic skeletons are fluid-based skeletons mainly found in echinoderms.
The internal body fluid is the liquid specially stored in chambers. This is totally kept under pressure by the muscles present in the chamber walls. In necessity these structures harden and become rigid forming a bony structure supporting the soft body organs.
