DNA full form is de-oxyribonuclic acid. It helps in protein synthesis. It contains genetic material. So, it is known as Semi autonomus cell.It is double stranded and spirally coiled. The space between one node to another node is 34A°.and each contains 10 nitrogeneous base(adenine, thymine, guanine, cytosine) and spaces between nitrogenous bases is 3.4A°.Watson and Creek gave the 3D model of the DNA.
