Hi mate

There are two types of morphemes namely,

• Free morphemes and
• Bound morphemes.

Free morphemes: It can stand alone with a specific meaning.

Example, eat, date, weak.

Bound morphemes: It cannot stand alone with meaning.

Morphemes are comprised of two separate classes called (a) bases and (b) affixes.
