A registerated party is recognized as a national party only if fulfills anyone of the following condition .. At a general election of lol sabha or legislative assembly , the party polls 6% of votes on any four or more states and in addition it wins the four lok Sabah seats .

there are 2 types of parties they are regional party and national party national party ..

during election national party are nominated in all states of India to elect P. M or any other post in government . regional party are only belong to a particular state

example of national party:- BJP, INC etc...

example of regional party:- TDP, YSRCP etc...
