A neutron star is the collapsed core of a large star which before collapse had a total of between 10 and 29 solar masses. Neutron stars are the smallest and densest stars known to exist.[1

Heya user!!

When a large star or we can say Red Giant or Red Super Giant explodes a Neutron star is formed. They are formed due to the collapse of the massive bodies. But they have high density...like one spoon of them will weigh thousands of tons in Earth!!!

Hope it helps!!
