The nucleus is the main component of a cell.

It is separated from the cytoplasm by a nuclear membrane.

The nuclear membrane also contains a number of pores known as nuclear pores.

These pores help in the movement of RNA across the nucleus.

Inside the nucleus is a thick jelly like substance called nucleoplasm.

Nucleus also contains a central structure called nucleolus which is rich in RNA.

Other than this, nucleus consist of chromatin fibres or chromosomes(when they condense)which are responsible for the transfer of hereditary characterstics from the parent to the offspring.

The nucleus of a cell controls all the metabolic activities of a cell.

It is also responsible for the transfer of hereditary characterstics from the parent to the offspring.

That's it....I know this is a little long....but it's nothing...I know very less as I am still in 10 standard
