A palindrome is a word which sounds the same way when pronounced backwards, for example; `Malayalam' when pronounced backwards sounds the same, therefore it is a palindrome.
As for the longest palindrome: it is the onomatopoeic 'tattarrattat',
It means a knock on the door.

Palindrome is a phrase that means the same when it is read backwards or forward

For example --- Tea or coffee

If you read forward "Tea or coffee" it means the same when also read backwards i.e "Coffee or Tea"

Longest palindrome is a word "saippuakivikauppias" which means soapstone vendor in Finnish language

Hope This Helps You!
