  • In the widest definition, a pathogen is any organism that may cause illness. A pathogen is also known as an infectious agent or a germ.

  • A vector is a piece of data in a vector space. The vectors have special names for many different vector spaces, which are given below. A Euclidean vector, in general, is a geometric object containing both length and direction (and so is frequently represented as a ray). Vector algebra can be used to add or scale such vectors. A vector space, on the other hand, is a collection of vectors. Linear algebra is used to describe these objects, which are defined by their dimensions.
