A PELTIER COOLER ,HEATER,OR THERMOELECTRIC HEAT PUMP IS A SOLID STATE ACTIVE HEAT PUMP WITH NO MOVING PARTS.

IT HAS TWO PLATES ,WHEN A DC VOLTAGE IS APPLIED ,ONE PLATE STARTS COOLING DOWN AN THE OTHER STARTS GETTING HOT AND CAN REACH UPTO MORE THAN 100 DEGREES DEPENDING UPON THE AMOUNT OF CURRENT FLOWING THROUGH IT.

IT CAN ALSO BE USED TO EITHER HEAT OR COOL.ITS MAIN APPLICATION IS TO COOL,IT CAN BE FOUND IN YOUR COMPUTER.

THERE ARE MANY PELTIER MODULES AVAILABLE IN MARKET ,ONE OF THEM IS TECH 12730 AND CONSUMES APPROXIMATELY 253 WATTS AN HOUR

THE HIGHER THE NUMBER OF PELTIER, THE MORE IT WILL HAVE THE TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ITS HOT AN COLD SIDE

Answer:

Peltier module (thermoelectric module) is a thermal control module that has both "warming" and "cooling" effects. By passing an electric current through the module, it is possible to change the surface temperature and keep it at the target temperature.
