photochemical smog. Noxious haze of minute chemical droplets and ozone, resulting from sunlight induced chemical reaction between industrial and automobile pollutants (mainly nitrogen dioxide and hydrocarbons).

photochemical smoke is the major contributor to air pollution.the word smoke is usually used to describe air pollution produced from burning of coal,which release smoke or sulfuric dioxide .
