these are the plants which grow in places where the soil have low nitrogen content. these plants catch insects and digest them for nitrogenous compounds.

they are kinda like carnivorous plants but are actually autotrophs, since they do photosynthesis to make food but just eats insects for nitrogenous compnds

eg: venous fly trap
