Answer:

Plant harmones are often termed as Phytoharmones where phyto indicates the plant and harmones indicate biological substance which regulates the body functioning.

Explanation:

Plant's usually have 5 types of phytoharmones in which 3 are plant growth promotors and rest 2 are inhibitors.

Lets start then for the first time

AUXIN -

Charles Darwin and his son francis Darwin discovered auxin in the celopitile of grass.

The hormone auxin is used to increase the shoot of the plants these harmones are often used into tissue culture because they increase the rate of cell divison.

Synthetic auxin is also called as

IAA - Indole -3- acetic acid

Gibberellin -

The discovery of Gibberellin was an acident.

and it was discovered by E.Fujikori in the wheat seedlings called bakene foolish disease.

Gibberellins are of 100 of types but the most common one are Gb 1 and 3

They are use to elongate the length of the plant for example Gibberellin is sprayed over sugarcane to increase it's length for maximum sugar content.

Cytokinin -

As we differentiate the words here

Cyto means cytoplasm while

Kinesis termed as division.

So cytokinins are the hormones which inc the rate of division by 10 times faster since they are also used in tissue culture along with auxin.

And now let us discus about inhibitors.

There are two plant growth inhibitors those are

ABA - Absasic acid

Absasic acid are also called as stress harmone because it gets activated in the stress condition this harmone have various effects on the physiology of the plants it promotes senescence of the older leaves and the fruit.

It also leada to closure of the stomata in the stressful condition to avoid transpiration.

And the last one is

Ethylene -

Ethylene is might commonly heard as ethephenon it is ethylenes commercial name ethylene is a gaseous harmone which promotes the ripping of the fruit and also increase the rate of fruit formation

hence it is widely used in commercial practices like ripening of the raw bananas , mangoes and many other fruits to increase their market period to earn more.

I hope there is no doubt in your mind.

Keep studying.

All the very best.

Answer:

The plants do not have a nervous system and sense organs like ear, nose, mouth, etc like the animals, but they can still sense things. the plants coordinate their behavior against environmental changes by using hormones
