plasma: the state consists of super energetic and super excited particles which are  in the form of ionised gases.(the sun and the stars glow because of the presence of plasma in them)

solids:any matter which have a definite shape, fixed volume and distinct boundaries.i.e.have negligible compressibility.molecules are tightly packed.

liquid:matters which have no no fixed shape but  a fixed vol.not rigid but fluid.

gas :the matters which have no definit shape or vol.this is the state of matter in which molecules are loosely packed.they have high compressibility.

BEC: it is formed by cooling a gas of extremely low density, about one-hundred-thousandth the density of normal air,to super low temperatures
