what is a prokaryotic cell


AshishMSV: A prokaryote is a unicellular organism that lacks a membrane-bound nucleus, mitochondria, or any other membrane-bound organelle. The word prokaryote comes from the Greek πρό "before" and κάρυον "nut or kernel".
