rainbow is a natural disaster which won't affect the earth.

rainbows are formed by:-

1)after rain, the first light rays should fall on the towers

2)the sunlight should pass through a water drop at 45      degrees.

to understand the second condition, you should perform an activity

Activity:-take a waste C.D (or) D.V.D and apply the VIBGYOR colours in the VIBGYOR format and the red colour should be applied one-forth of the C.D darkly. Now spin the c.d by keeping a pencil in the centre of the C.D. now you can understand white light is made up of 7 different colours and 7 colours are used to make the white colour.

hope it helps you
