A robot is made up of 4 main things: The actuator (motor, servos etc), the sensors, the controller, and the power source. The simplest example would be a collision avoiding robot. To make it, You will first need two motors fitted with wheels (and an optional castor wheel, to stabilize the robot) as the actuator.
