in reflex actions...it acts as the relay centre transferring impulse from sensory to motor neuron

brain has basically no role in reflex action..

but it stores the mamory of the incident so it'll be useful in future...

and technically control the whole process as it control over spinal cord and spinal cord control over that reflex action

....
