Answer:First of all it is not plastics its plastids. They are the colouring pigments present in plants. They are of three types : 1. Leucoplast 2. Chromoplast. Chloroplast.

They provide or impart colour to the petals of flowers. They also provide colour to the fruits and vegetables. The plastid called Chloroplast contains chlorophyll which helps in the process of photosynthesis.
