What is a seed ? What are the parts of a seed ? Explain with the help pf a labelled diagram.

A seed is a fertilised ovule. A seed is made up of a tiny living embryo (baby plant),cotyledon (seed leaves) and seed coat.Seed Coat protects the cotyledons from drying out and being damaged before it gets chance to germinate.
