HERE\: IS\: YOUR\: ANSWER

Sharp change of pressure in a narrow region travelling through a medium (especially air) caused by explosion or by a body moving faster than sound is called shock wave.

oblique shock wave are unlike the another shock wave they occur due to a supersonic flow encounters a corner that effectively turns the flow into itself and compresses.

Shock wave is a sharp change of pressure in a narrow region travelling through a medium, especially air , caused by explosion or by a body moving faster than sound...

Types : *Electromagnetic shock wave generation (EMSG)

*Piezoelectronic shock wave generation

*Radial or Ballistic pressure wave generation (it is not a shock wave, but has been marketed as a shock wave)

Oblique Shock Wave:

An oblique Shock wave, unlike a normal shock , is inclined with respect to the incident upstream flow direction. It will occur when a supersonic flow encounters a corner that effectively turns the flow into itself and compresses. The upstream streamlines are uniformly deflected after the shock wave. The most common way to produce an oblique Shock Wave is to place a wedge into Supersonic , compressible flow.....
