A simple pendulum mean a Bob is attached to a rigid point by a weight less thread and when a force applied to it ,it moves to its extreme position and slows down and came into rest and back to its maen position. But clock pendulum has structure like that but its can't came into rest until the battery low. So,we can't say that clock pendulum is like simple pendulum

Answer:

A simple pendulum consists of a metal bob that is attached through a rigid support. It oscillates to and fro its mean position.

Its time period is affected by foolowing factors:

*Distance from rigid point to mid of the bob.

*Acceleration due to gravity
