•Striated Muscle: They are under the control of our will. They are made of long fibres which are nucleated and striated- light and dark bands ruin across the fibres. Found in the arms, legs, face, neck etc.
•Smooth Muscle: not under our control. Made up of spindle shaped tapering cells which are uninucleated. Found in the walls of the intestine helping in the passage of food, lining of blood vessels etc.
•Cardiac Muscle: Involuntary In function and found only in the walls off the heart. Relatively short.
