LET A BE POSITIVE. REAL NUMBER AND N BE ANY NON ZERO INTEGER THEN N ROOT OF A IS A SURD . EX:-√2,√3,√5

When we can't simplify a number to remove a square root (or cube root etc) then it is a surd.
Example: √2 (square root of 2) can't be simplified further so it is a surd
Example: √2 (square root of 2) can't be simplified further so it is a surd
KINGAMAN:
it can be simplified by long division and the answer of √2 is 1.414
