Answer:

Tissue:

A group of cell similar in structure and work together to perform a particular function is known as tissue.

Difference between xylem and phloem:

Xylem:

1. It conduct water and mineral.

2. Condition in xylem is mostly undirectional.

3. Xylem are of four types-

Xylem trachides

Xylem vessel

Xylem parenchyma

Xylem fiber

4. Out of four only xylem parenchyma is living.

5. In xylem conduction of water and mineral done by xylem trachides and xylem vessel.

Phloem:

1. It conduct organic material and food.

2. Conduction in phloem is may be bidirectional.

3. Phloem are of four types -

Sieve tube

Companion cell

Phloem parenchyma

Phloem fiber

4. Out of four only phloem fiber is dead.

5. In phloem conduction of food is mainly done by sieve tube.

Thank you!
