tissue:- a group of similar cells combine together to form an important part of the organism to perform a function is called tissue. each tissue has a specific function in our body. 

for eg:- nervous tissue generates electrical impulse in response to stimuli..

Tissue is a biological term.A group of similar cells combined to form a tissue which make an important part of an organism to perform particular function.
There are plant tissues and animal tissues.

There are 4 tissues in plant tissues.They are
Meristematic tissue
Dermal tissue
Ground tissue
Vascular tissue

There are 4 tissues in animal tissues. They are
Epithelial tissue
Connective tissue
Muscular tissue
Nervous tissue
