  • Permanent tissue

  • complex permanent tissue

Meristematic tissue :-

  • these tissues are living and increase the length and thickness.

  • The cells which make up tissues have dense cytoplasm, thin cellulose wall with prominent nuclei and they lack vacuoles.

Permanent Tissue :-

  • They loose the ability to divide to take up specific function.

Complex permanent tissue :-

  • Xylen and phloem-:

Xylem -

  • Xylem helps in the conduction of water and minerals from roots to all parts of the shoot.

  • It also provides mechanical support.

Phloem -

  • Phloem transport food from leaves to other parts of the plant.

  • Phloem helps in the storage of food.
