Biodiversity is defined as “the variability among living organisms from all sources including, inter alia, terrestrial, marine and other aquatic ecosystems and the ecological complexes of which they are part; this includes diversity within species, between species and of ecosystems.A small example of this may be in our own Promega Woods. There is a great variety of bushes, trees and plants in those woods that can provide food, shelter, air and water to a variety of organisms (species biodiversity).
