Answer:

Scaler Quantity......... Physical quantities with which we can associate only Magnitude but no Direction......

Vector Quantity........ Physical quantities with which we can associate magnitude as well as Direction.......

A force is a vector quantity. As learned in an earlier unit, a vector quantity is a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. To fully describe the force acting upon an object, you must describe both the magnitude (size or numerical value) and the direction.

Examples of scalar quantity are:.

  • Distance
  • Speed
  • Time
  • Tempreture
  • Energy
  • Work......etc

Answer:

vector physical quantity means it has both magnitude, direction and also follows the law of addition

whereas

scalar physical quantity has only magnitude but does not have direction and does not follow the laws of addition

See,We know that displacement and velocity are vector physical quantity

Now,

F=ma

F=m(v-u)/t

so,as velocity is vector quantity then force also becomes a vector physical quantity......

hope it helps
