What is a vector and scaler quantity, and why is force known as a vector quantity? And also give an example of scaler quantity,(please don't copy from google)

There are two types of numerical quantities, namely, vector and scalar. Vector quantities have unit, magnitude and most importantly, direction. For example, Displacement, velocity, etc. On the other hand, Scalar quantities have only unit and magnitude. For example, Distance, Speed, etc.
In displacement, I can say A is 4m east from B.
Here, I am mentioning the direction, that is, east. However, I cannot say that when I am measure the distance instead of Displacement.
In Distance, I can say A is 4m away from B.
In Scalar quantities, the direction is not mentioned.
Hope it helps.
