Verb is a word that express an action or state is being. As you can see from the definition that verb is of two types :-
1)action verb
2)linking verb
ACTION VERB:-
An action verb is a verb that express physical or mental action. The action verb tell us what the subject of the clause or sentence is doing physically or mentally.
Ex:- 1)Mahesh( wants )a horse on her birthday.
2)Jan (thoughts) a formula for maths.
LINKING VERB :-
A linking verb is a verb that connects subjects to it's predicate without any action
Ex:- he (is) monster.
