A virtual image can be defined as an image which can't be obtained in the screen.

This happens when the beam of light, after reflection of refraction don't meet or aplers to meet.

{virtual \: image}

virtual image refers to the fact that, image doesn’t actually exist, but it almost seems like it exists.

\textbf{For example, (situation)}

you are looking at a mirror, and see a bottle in the mirror. In reality, there is no bottle in the mirror, it is a reflection of bottle in front of mirror.

The image you see inside the mirror is called “virtual image”.
