Apparently, the mass of Earth distorts spacetime. According to general relativity, mass causes space-time to curve. Objects moving near that mass roll toward it - and gravity is simply the motion of objects following the curves formed by such distortion.

Earth is not stationary; it rotates on its axis, and this 'twists' the distorted spacetime slightly, pulling it around into a 4-dimensional vortex. This is the space-time vortex , and its shape precisely matches the predictions of Einstein's theory of gravity.
