Windmill is a ..model or a device which rotates when winds blows and produces electrical energy.
Actually according to my knowledge, the windmill too works as a AC generator on the principle of electromagnetic induction. The blowing winds rotate the fan of the windmill, inside which, there are two strong magnets. Inside the fan, conducting wire is attached. As the coil rotates along with the fan, the rate of magnetic flux from the magnets linked with the coil continuously changes, and hence, by Faraday's law, an electro motive force (emf, hence current) is induced in the coil.
