Workspace is a procedure of grouping various tasks into a single application view so as to reduce the clustering of the display unit.

The two views of Workspace are Public and Private. The Public is viewed by all the application users whereas Private is restricted to authenticated users only.

Workspace concept is very common in the Unix Operating System. All the applications are automatically managed and fragmented in a single workspace.

New users take advantage of Unix which is making this operating system very popular around the globe.
