AC current means which passes indirectly ...its mean alternate current ...AC will always pass through the resistor by maintaining the voltage ...but DC is direct current which pass direct from the main power ...AC current will supply in home and all..But DC current will use in bib industries ..to run big big mechines..i hope this will hwlp u..

 is called ac
.the positive and negative polarities of ac are not fixed. Ac is preferred as it caused minimum loss of energy  during transmission

Dc--  if the current always flows in the same direction ,it is called dc.it can be obtained from the cell. the negative and positive polarities are always fixed
