Acceleration:-

⏩It is defined as the change in velocity with respect to time.

⏩ Formula of acceleration is given by

\sf{a} = \sf\dfrac{v - u}{\triangle{t}}

where,

a = acceleration

v = final velocity

u = initial velocity

∆t = change in time

⏩SI unit of acceleration is m/s²

⏩It is a vector quantity because direction is associated with acceleration.

⏩ Acceleration can be positive, negative or a zero. It depends on the direction of a moving body.
