Acceleration is change in velocity/time taken.
Acceleration is taken positive when it is in direction of velocity and taken negative when it is opposite to the direction of velocity.
SI unit of acceleration is m per s^2--- m/s^2.
Uniform acceleration is when velocity increases or decreases by equal intervals of time.
Non-uniform acceleration is when velocity increases or decreases with unequally intervals of time.
