Rate of Change of Velocity is known as acceleration. Acceleration is denoted by 'a'. To find acceleration, you can use the 1st, 2nd and 3rd law of motion.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU...

\huge\textbf{Acceleration :}

It is the rate of change of velocity of an object per unit time.

i.e.

Acceleration = Velocity ÷ Time

→ Dimensions =

Velocity = [L¹T-¹]

Time = [T¹]

So,

Acceleration = [L¹T-¹] ÷ [T¹]

[L¹T-²]

→ S.I. unit = m/s²

→ It is a vector quantity as it has both Magnitude and direction.
