The acceleration on an object due to the gravity of any massive body is represented by g (small g) . the force of attraction between any two units masses separated by unit distance is called universal gravitational constants denoted by G (capital G) . The relation between g and G is not proportional .

where G is a gravitational force constants , M is a mass of earth and R is a radius of earth. by comparing (1) and (2) acceleration due to gravity = g =(G×M) / R².
