\huge\bigstar\mathfrak{Acceleration}

☑️ It is the rate of change of velocity.

a = (v-u)/t

where,

a is Acceleration

v is final velocity

t is time

u is initial velocity.

 \textbf{ \large{ \underline{ \underline{ \:  \:  \: Acceleration \:  \:  \:  }}}}

Acceleration of an object is defined as the rate of change in velocity of the object.

\text{\small{acceleration}} =   \frac{  \text{ \small{change \: in \: velocity}}}{ \text{ \small{time \: taken}}}

Acceleration is a vector quantity.

 \textbf{ \underline{ \underline{ \:  \: Types of acceleration \:  \: }}}

(1) Positive acceleration If the acceleration is acting in the direction of motion of a body, the velocity of a body will increase with time. then the acceleration of a body is positive.

(2) Negative acceleration If the acceleration is acting opposite to the direction of motion of a body, the velocity of a body will decrease with time. then the acceleration of a body is negative. (Negative acceleration is also called retardation or deceleration).

(3) Zero acceleration If a body is moving with a constant velocity, then the acceleration of a body is zero.

 \text{Unit of acceleration is }{ \text{ ms}}^{- 2}
