What is Acceleration? N name its types!
Answers
☑️ It is the rate of change of velocity.
a = (v-u)/t
where,
a is Acceleration
v is final velocity
t is time
u is initial velocity.

Acceleration of an object is defined as the rate of change in velocity of the object.
Acceleration is a vector quantity.
(1) Positive acceleration– If the acceleration is acting in the direction of motion of a body, the velocity of a body will increase with time. then the acceleration of a body is positive.
(2) Negative acceleration– If the acceleration is acting opposite to the direction of motion of a body, the velocity of a body will decrease with time. then the acceleration of a body is negative. (Negative acceleration is also called retardation or deceleration).
(3) Zero acceleration– If a body is moving with a constant velocity, then the acceleration of a body is zero.
