Acceleration is a ratio of velocity over time.
acceleration=velocity /time which further expands to final velocity-initial velocity.
hope this answer helps you. pose mark as abrainliest answer.

Rate of Change of velocity is acceleration..
a=v-u/t

Acceleration means Velocity would be changing with respect to time..
example--
let assume be v(final velocity)be 10m/s
let assume u(Initial velocity)be 5m/s
time--4s

Acceleration would be--
a=10-5/4
a=5/4
a=1.25m/S2

the si unit of acceleration be m/s2
